Dramatic footage shows the horrifying moment a Coimbatore girl, forced to jump off a building for a disaster management drill, dies in the fall. The footage shows N Logeshwari, a second-year BBA student, is reluctant to hop off the second floor of her college building but is made to leap. The drill was a part of a disaster management training programme at a private college near Narasipuram in the Coimbatore. Instead of landing straight on the safety net on the ground floor, Logeshwari hit her head on the sunshade on the first floor. She suffered head injuries and a cut on her neck and was taken to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH), but succumbed to injuries on the way. The police have booked the trainer, R Arumugam, for pushing the girl from the height. The college had invited Arumugam to train the students in disaster management.
