Will waive farmers’ loan if voted to power, says Rahul Gandhi in Karnataka

In poll-bound Karnataka, Congress president Rahul Gandhi blamed the central government for farm distress. While addressing a rally, Gandhi said that he will question the government because the land of tribal communities and farmers is being forcefully acquired. He further said that if Congress is voted to power, farmers' loan will be waived off. The Bharatiya Janata Party had recently come under fire after 50,000 farmers in Maharashtra walked from Nashik to Mumbai to press for land rights and loan waivers.
