India & U.S. Vs China Over Dalai Lama? The Cold War Playing Out Over The Tibetan Spiritual Leader

Group of U.S. lawmakers arrived in India last month to meet Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama and said that U.S. would soon sign a bill that aims to press China to resolve the Tibet dispute. In response, China hit out at U.S. and said that it would take "resolute measures to firmly defend its sovereignty and development interests". What does this mean for India?
