Family of hostage of Somali pirates slams government

Family of N. Mohammad Nangi, hostage held by Somali pirates on Monday, slammed the central government for indifference towards their son's rescue operation. Somali pirates hijacked a tanker named Five N Bongi around 13 days ago. Nangi's father Abdullah informed media persons that he received calls from the authorities of the ship who told him about his son's captivity. He added that his son was recruited as a chef on the ship that was carrying chemical oils from Mumbai and was heading towards the Gulf countries when it got hijacked near Oman.
