Modernization plan for Kolkata airport

Indian civil aviation minister Praful Patel on Monday launched about 20 billion rupees modernization plan for Kolkata airport. Chief Minister of West Bengal, Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee laid the foundation stone of the modernization of the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. Patel while addressing the gathering said that the Airport Authority of India or AAI would bear the entire expenses.
