India's Neighbour Loses Control Of Key City To Chinese Militia Close To Xi Jinping Govt | Myanmar

Myanmar, India’s neighbour to the east, has confirmed losing a key border city with China. The border city of Laukkaing was lost to a coalition of three ethnic armed groups fighting the Myanmar’s military govt. The coalition of armed groups also include a Chinese ethnic militia, with close ties to Beijing. Meanwhile, India is already planning to cancel the Free Movement Regime (FMR) with Myanmar amid concerns over insurgency, smuggling and trade.
