India’s Seema Kaliramna Clinches Commonwealth Games Bronze In Women's Discus Throw

Indian athlete Seema Kaliramna clinched the bronze medal in the Women's Discus Throw at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow. Speaking after her achievement, Seema said she was delighted to win a medal at her first Commonwealth Games. She also spoke about the challenge of competing in the cold weather, which required her to warm up repeatedly during the event. Alongside her sporting career, Seema is pursuing a PhD at Chaudhary Bansilal University and credited her guide, Dr Suresh Kumar Malik, for his support.
