The road to the 2025 IPL season is well underway, as the ten franchises announced their retention lists ahead of the big auction set to occur before the close of the year. Heinrich Klaasen was the highest earner in the retention lists, with Sunrisers Hyderabad giving him 23 crore to keep his services. Virat Kohli and Nicholas Pooran were right behind, as RCB and LSG give them INR 21 cr each.
