Iran’s Trojan Horse inside US Navy? 200 radiological items discovered at California naval shipyard

A radioactive materials discovery at a U.S. Navy-linked facility has triggered a major investigation after officials found unauthorized uranium- and thorium-containing materials stored on site. According to the U.S. Navy, a former employee of subcontractor RSI EnTech is suspected of secretly bringing and storing the materials over several years without authorization. Company executives described the incident as the actions of a "rogue employee," while Navy officials stressed that no immediate health or environmental threat has been identified. The discovery has nevertheless raised serious questions about oversight, security protocols, and how radioactive materials remained undetected for years before being uncovered.
