Jharkhand job aspirants protesting alleged irregularities in JPSC and JSSC examinations have announced a major showdown on August 20. Students said they will gherao Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s official residence and continue their protest until their demands are met. The protesters are demanding cancellation of the JSSC-CGL examination, a CBI inquiry and accountability over alleged examination irregularities. The announcement came during a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Ranchi, marking the 22nd day of their indefinite strike.
