- Protests continued in Jammu and Kashmir over the killing of government employee Rahul Bhat by terrorists. 9 days after he was shot dead in his office in Budgam, Kashmiri Pandit government employees demanded that they be relocated to less-vulnerable areas. They marched towards Lal Chowk in Srinagar and held a puja demanding justice for Rahul Bhat. Some protesters reportedly tonsured their heads as well, in memory of Rahul Bhat. The protests came a day after J&K administration offered Rahul Bhat's wife job in Jammu and provided ex-gratia to his family. Watch this video for more details.
