Superheated race for Malaysia's LCA programme - Tejas v/s FA-50 vs Hürjet. Earlier this month, HAL Chair R. Madhavan stated the Tejas is Malaysia's top choice. A new report suggests Malaysia will pick the South Korean FA-50 over the Tejas. Kuala Lumpur is looking to replace MiG-29s, China-Pak JF-17 out of the race. If Malaysia selects Tejas, they can even think of India's advanced medium combat jet (AMCA). India has pitched a maintenance, repair & overhaul facility for Malaysian Su-30s . Malaysia is struggling to procure Su-30 spares because of anti-Russia sanctions.
