Environmental activist Abhay Azad shoved into police car in Mumbai. Activist claims he protested 'a decades-old tree being cut without requisite nod from authorities'. Mumbai Police counter activist's claim, say officials had due permission. As per a Maharashtra state rule, any tree with an estimated age of 50 or above is a 'heritage tree'.
