‘Can’t fool everyone forever’: Cong calls BJP manifesto ‘balloon of lies’
Updated on Apr 08, 2019 08:01 pm IST
Just hours after the Bharatiya Janata Party released its manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party hit back, calling it a 'balloon of lies'. Congress leader Ahmed Patel said that instead of a manifesto, the BJP should've released a letter of apology to the nation. Congress compared the BJP's document to its own manifesto, labelling it 'jhooth versus nyay', an allusion to its 'NYAY' minimum income guarantee scheme.
