What’s the point of bank account without money?: Rahul pitches NYAY in Bihar

Congress President Rahul Gandhi took a dig at the NDA government's Jan Dhan scheme while pitching his 'NYAY' minimum income guarantee promise in Bihar. Gandhi asked what the point of bank accounts was if there was no money in them. He then promised to give Rs 6000 per month to 5 crore poor families if the Congress is elected to power. He also said that the people of Bihar would benefit the most from the scheme. Gandhi was addressing a rally in Bihar's Samastipur.
