Nepal Floods: Two Rescued From Trishuli 3A Hydropower Tunnel After 10 Days

Rescue workers have rescued two people from inside a tunnel at Nepal’s Trishuli 3A hydropower project, ten days after devastating floods struck the country on August 26. During the rescue operation, members of the team reportedly heard voices of more than one person from inside the tunnel, raising hopes of finding additional survivors. Rescue efforts continue at the hydropower project as teams search the flooded and debris-filled tunnel for people who may still be trapped.
