With first phase of elections just one day away in Uttar Pradesh, the manifestos of BJP and Samajwadi Party are out -- promising a range of freebies to the people of the state. In addition to the freebies, there are promises for farmers, unemployed youth and women. The BJP, which has been accused of polarising the polls by its opponents, has promised 10-year jail term for those found guilty of so-called 'Love Jihad'.
