The opposition INDIA bloc urged the Election Commission to ensure a level-playing field in the Lok Sabha polls and presented five demands to the Election Commission. Meanwhile, Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) has forged an alliance with Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM in Uttar Pradesh. In another development, Karnataka unit of the BJP filed a formal complaint with the Election Commission of India against Deputy Cheif Minister DK Shivakumar, accusing him of violating the Model Code of Conduct.
