Jaishankar rips Pompeo for calling Sushma Swaraj 'goofball' | Details

Former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has raked up a controversy with his remarks on former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in his latest book 'Never Give an Inch: Fighting for the America I Love'. Pompeo disparagingly described Sushma Swaraj as a 'goofball' and 'heartland political hack'. Commenting on Pompeo's claims, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said that he deplored the disrespectful colloquialism used for Sushma Swaraj.
