Uttar Pradesh police’s SIT probing the Lakhimpur Kheri incident has submitted a 5,000-page chargesheet to a local court. Police named Minister of State for Home Ajay Misra Teni’s son Ashish Misra as the prime accused. The chargesheet was brought to the court of the chief judicial magistrate in Lakhimpur in a big trunk . A relative of Ashish Misra was also named as an accused in the charge sheet. A trial in the case will start at a date given when the court accepts the chargesheet. Last month, UP police’s SIT revealed that the incident was 'pre-planned'.
