Learn a neat new culinary trick via The Big Forkers

Published on Dec 24, 2021 02:13 pm IST

Cousins Sid Mewara and Shashank Jayakumar love food, travel and discovering new cultures. Inspired by the late chef Anthony Bourdain, best known for his TV shows on food, travel and culture, they set up a YouTube channel called The Big Forkers that showcases their exploration of cuisine. There are scores of episodes up so far, shot mainly in Mumbai and Goa. Coming up are trails through Karnataka, in a set of episodes that will debut on a streaming platform first. As with Bourdain, the Forkers recognise no taboos and will try anything once. Here, they spend the day with Kunbi tribals in Goa and try a dish of fish steamed in hay.
