Rahul Gandhi Set To Return To Parliament After SC Stays Conviction In Modi Surname Defamation Case

In a big relief for Rahul Gandhi, the Supreme Court has stayed the conviction of the Congress leader in the criminal defamation case against him for his 'Modi surname' remark. The Supreme Court also revived his status as a Member of Parliament.Rahul Gandhi had approached the Supreme Court challenging the Gujarat High Court's order dismissing his application to stay the conviction in the case.
