The Houthis are increasingly building missiles and drones inside Yemen using Chinese-origin components, according to Bloomberg, marking a shift from importing complete weapons. Intercepted cargo reportedly included heat-resistant resin, missile-like fins, guidance components, UAV engines and machine tools, although Chinese manufacturers may not have known their final destination. Iranian expertise and earlier weapons supplies helped build Houthi capabilities, but the emerging production network could reduce reliance on finished Iranian systems.
