Moscow criticised Israel's 'biased, anti-Russian' stance on the war in Ukraine. Russia recently moved to close an agency that processes Jewish immigration to Israel. Today, Lapid's office said that he & Putin had exchanged 'written greetings'. Kremlin & the Foreign Ministry seem keen to minimise the diplomatic repercussions.
