But the pandemic has sped things up even as it has given both, remote and commuting workers, a harder time since March. We Indians are a hardworking lot, and the pandemic has made the search for work-life balance all the more pressing. Some companies have come up with new initiatives designed to ease the sting. How children spent the pandemic year

<p>The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the academic year of millions of school children around the world. As Children's Day approaches on November 14, we spoke to children from around India, from the National Capital to the southern state of Kerala to ask them what they've been up to in 2020. Not surprisingly, we found that many hadn't wasted any time. Some caught up with important reading material (Harry Potter novels), some used these months to learn essential life skills like cooking, still others found ways to over insurmountable troubles.</p>

Breakdancing: What a sport!

<p>Is it a dance? Is it a sport? Breakdancing or breaking is a form of street dance that has its origins in Bronx in New York. Breakers, also called b-boys and b-girls, can move to anything from soul to jazz to hip hop dance music. It's cool, it's acrobatic, it's powerful and soon, it may be a category at the Olympics. But it's not the first funky event to enter the haloed international sporting competition.</p>
