Court-ing sexism in Tennis

Andy Murray shut down a reporter's casual sexism at a post-match press conference on Thursday. The reporter had asked “Andy, Sam is the first U.S. player to reach a major semi-final since 2009. How would you describe the— ?” To which Murray, interjected: “Male player.” The player was defeated but his sexism bashing scored him a lot of points from the Twitterati. This is not the first instance of sexism is seen in Tennis. There has been various instances in the past and the comments have been vile. Watch the video for more.
