Notably, Trump's oldest daughter Ivanka was absent from the appearance, as well as Tiffany and Barron, his remaining two children. Trump's oldest son Don Jr, and Eric Trump were present, and spoke briefly about their father's impending inauguration less than 24 hours away. Don Jr.'s daughter Kai accompanied her father as well.
