U.S wants Modi Govt to support Russian oil price cap. But India has a condition

• As per Bloomberg report, India is hesitant to join the U.S-led west's plan to cap the price of Russian oil unless a consensus is reached with all buyers. India which has emerged as one of the biggest buyers of Russian oil since the invasion of Ukraine, will seek broader consensus before it supports U.S-led efforts. That message will likely be conveyed to U.S Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo and his team at meetings with Indian government officials.
