WATCH: Iran Claims It Captured US Unmanned Submersible Near Strait of Hormuz

Iranian state media has released footage purportedly showing an unmanned U.S. submersible captured by Iran’s IRGC Navy at an unknown location. Reuters could not independently verify the location or date of the footage. The unmanned underwater vehicle shown in the opening part of the video appears to match archive imagery of a Dive-LD model. Reuters said it found no older versions of the footage posted online before September 8.
