China's 'strongest' warning to US over Nancy Pelosi's planned visit to Taiwan

• China has issued a stern warning to the US over House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi's planned visit to Taiwan. According to Financial Times, Nancy Pelosi will lead the delegation to the island nation which Beijing claims its own, in August next month. China has said that it is fully prepared to respond with 'strong measures' if Pelosi sticks to her plan to visit Taipei. It also said that the US will bear the responsibility for the consequences.
