Fear, panic, helplessness as Taliban take Kabul; Ghani flees Afghanistan

As Taliban entered Kabul on Sunday, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani has reportedly left the war-torn country. Tolo News reported that Ghani left after resigning as the President. Taliban had ordered its troops to remain outside the Afghan capital ahead of talks on a peaceful transition of power but the insurgents have now moved inside the city. As news of Taliban takeover spread in Kabul, fear, panic and uncertainty gripped citizens.
