A day after at least 290 people were killed in suicide bombings across multiple locations in Sri Lanka, a fresh blast was reported from Colombo. A van exploded near St Anthony's Church which was the location of one of the explosions on Easter too. Security personnel were seen at the spot soon after the explosion. The Sri Lankan government believes that a local Islamist extremist group, National Thowheeth Jama'ath was behind the suicide bombings.
