This came after the authorities opened a probe into her conduct at a recent concert. On July 6, Higelin "imagined" French President Emmanuel Macron "being hanged" during her show. The singer’s words followed a wave of unrest sparked by the killing of 17-year-old Nahel Merzouk on June 27.
