India launched a sharp diplomatic attack on Pakistan at the United Nations, accusing Islamabad of a long history of genocidal acts and cross-border violence. Speaking at the UN Security Council debate on the protection of civilians in armed conflict, India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Parvathaneni Harish, cited UN reports alleging that Pakistani military actions caused 750 civilian deaths and injuries in Afghanistan during the first three months of 2026. India also called out Pakistan for hypocrisy on human rights and terrorism, reiterating that states supporting terrorism must be held accountable under international law.
