An UN official has accused Israel of killing more share of population in Gaza as compared to Russia-Ukraine and Iraq wars. Francesca Albanese, the UN’s special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian Territories, said Israel’s military has killed 1.1% of Gaza’s population since Hamas’ October 7 attacks, compared with 0.2% and 0.8% of the population killed in the Ukraine and Iraq wars, respectively. She added that “No war in this century comes even closer to [Israel’s] extermination campaign in Gaza." Watch.
