Israel and Hamas continue to be at loggerheads over hostage-prisoner exchange deal. Hamas has reportedly presented a new Gaza ceasefire proposal to mediators and Washington. Hamas has demanded that Israel first release 700-1000 Palestinian prisoners, according to Reuters. This in exchange for hostage Israeli women, children, elderly and even female recruits.
