Kyiv claims massive Russian Loses; Putin says 700000 troops ready for Ukraine

Ukraine says Russia has suffered around 1.2 million killed and wounded, yet Moscow still fields roughly 700,000 troops in the Ukraine war zone. Western estimates broadly agree Russia has taken enormous losses, but also highlight very high Ukrainian casualties, suggesting a grinding war of attrition rather than a clear collapse on either side.
