Macron’s Hypocrisy? France Supports Sanctions, But Leaves Even US Behind In Buying Russian Uranium

France has reportedly become the country that is most dependent on Russian uranium. It has raced ahead of Germany, South Korea & the U.S. in importing Russian-enriched uranium. Ria Novosti made the claim after studying data from Eurostat & the UN Comtrade platform. From Jan 2023 to Jun 2024, 60.5% ($428.6 mn) of France's uranium imports came from Russia.
