Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described a historic New Year’s Eve summit with U.S. President Donald Trump, highlighting strengthened personal and strategic ties between Israel and the United States. Netanyahu said Trump was firm that Hamas must disarm as a core condition of his 20-point Gaza plan. The leaders also agreed on a zero-enrichment stance on Iran, backing the Iranian people’s struggle amid growing unrest. Netanyahu expressed full support for the U.S. operation in Venezuela and praised American forces, while also outlining Israeli domestic security efforts in the Negev.
