Osama Bin Laden's former aide returns to Afghanistan after Taliban Takeover

• A former security chief of slain Al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden has re-emerged in Afghanistan after more than a decade. Dr Amin Al-Haq, who helped Osama escape during the 2001 battle of Tora Bora, returned to his hometown in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. He was escorted by a large number of SUVs with Taliban fighters onboard them and was greeted by locals on his return. According to United Nations, Amin Al-Haq was a security coordinator of Osama Bin Laden. In an interview last year, he acknowledged his links to Al Qaeda and other Arab jihadists. Amin Al-Haq was arrested by Pakistan in 2008 and then released subsequently in 2011. After the takeover of Kabul by Taliban, several Al-Qaeda linked jihadists have resurfaced and are openly roaming in the country. Watch this report for more.
