Pak stares at 'Non-NATO Ally' status cessation; Bill against 'terror haven' in U.S Congress | Watch

U.S. Congressman Andy Biggs, who represents the Fifth Congressional District of Arizona, tabled a bill titled "terminate the designation of Pakistan as a non-NATO ally." The bill seeks to cancel the designation of Islamabad as a major non-NATO ally (MNNA) for providing safe haven to terrorists. This bill has been referred to the United States House Foreign Affairs Committee. It needs to be passed by the House and the Senate before it can be signed into law by the U.S. president.
