'Pak terrorists, invasion': Biden-Ghani last call before Taliban takeover

Weeks before Taliban overran Kabul, presidents of United States and Afghanistan spoke for 14 minutes, a report by Reuters news agency said. According to the transcript of the call of Biden and Ghani, both discussed the military strategy and perception battle to contain the Taliban, which was rapidly taking over Afghan districts. However, the call transcript suggest that there was no concrete plan to stop advancing Taliban and both leaders were clueless about the insurgents' scale of offensive. While Biden appeared to be banking on Afghan security forces, Ghani in return wanted U.S military support to take on Taliban. Here is what transpired between the two leaders in their last phone call.
