Pakistan 1st country to send commercial flight to Taliban-ruled Afghanistan

Pakistan has become the first country to resume its commercial airline services to Afghanistan after the takeover by Taliban last month. A flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) landed in Kabul from Islamabad with around 10 passengers today. The flight then departed back to Islamabad with the relatives of staffers of international agencies working in Afghanistan. The commercial operations at Kabul Airport have come to a halt after the takeover of Taliban as the airport is badly damaged due to U.S-led evacuation that saw chaos and deaths last month.
