Vladimir Putin has announced that he will run in the 2024 Presidential elections in a powerful message to the world. He is certain that he will win a fifth term as president which will make him the head of world's biggest nuclear power for six more years. Putin served as president from 2000-08. He successfully completed a stint as prime minister in 2012. This means that he has already been in power in Russia longer than any ruler since Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin.
