Shinzo Abe's shooter is Japan Navy veteran; Attacker fired 2 bullets | Details

• Japanese police officials have identified Shinzo Abe's attacker as Tetsuya Yamagami. The 41-year-old Yamagami is a resident of Nara city and is a former Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force member. The shooter had spent three years in the Japanese Navy until 2005. He fired two shots at Japan's longest serving PM Shinzo Abe from behind when he was leading an election campaign.
