‘Shot, raped, tortured’: Opposition grills UK PM over Afghanistan evacuation

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was grilled in the House of Commons over evacuations from Afghanistan. Opposition MPs questioned Johnson over the status of evacuation of people stuck in Afghanistan. Labour Party’s Chris Bryant said there are 143 Afghans connected to his constituency, eligible for UK evacuation, still stuck in Afghanistan. Bryant also asked Boris to appoint a single person to deal with Afghan evacuation. Meanwhile, Boris had said over 300 people eligible for UK evacuations are left in Afghanistan.
