U.S. President Donald Trump intensified his rhetoric on Iran, boasting that U.S. forces have “hit them hard” along key maritime chokepoints and destroyed “tremendous amounts” of Iranian missile‑making sites, while promising even more devastating strikes within “two or three weeks” if Tehran continues its current course. He insists Iran does not need to strike a deal with him, declaring that Washington will only leave once Iran’s military and nuclear infrastructure are pushed “into the Stone Ages” and unable to build a nuclear weapon, portraying any eventual agreement as secondary to inflicting lasting damage.
