US astronaut, two Russian cosmonauts share ride to earth amid Ukraine tensions

Astronauts from U.S. & Russia returned in the same capsule from the International Space Station. It carried U.S’ Mark Vande Hei & Russian cosmonauts, Anton Shkaplerov and Pyotr Dubrov. It completed a parachute-assisted landing in Kazakhstan after undocking from the ISS. The Soyuz descent module touched down at the expected time in bright conditions. The trio’s homeward journey comes amid tensions between U.S, Russia over Ukraine war. For NASA astronaut Vande Hei, it ended a U.S. record-breaking stay in space. Watch the full video for more.
