The U.S. has dismissed a Politico report claiming that its ambassador to India had briefed his team that India-U.S. relations could get worse over the standoff with Canada. The U.S. embassy said that the envoy is focused on deepening the multi-faceted partnership with New Delhi. The Politico report had claimed that Garcetti even urged the U.S to reduce contact with Indian officials in the wake of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau's allegations against the Narendra Modi government.
