Heroic Rescue: US transit employee saves man who fell on rail track

Updated on Mar 06, 2020 06:10 pm IST

Bay Area Rapid Transit employee rescued a man who had fallen onto rail tracks just before a train was about to hit him. BART transportation supervisor John O'Connor pulled the passenger onto the platform at the Coliseum station in Oakland. He said, “I saw him. I saw the headlights of the train. Didn't think he was going to make it. So I've got to do something. There wasn't a lot of time to think. In my mind it all went down in slow-motion. I just grabbed him and pulled him out.”
